Privacy
Joblink Agent (“Joblink”, “we”) is a service of Lotus AI Inc. It helps people find hourly work nearby and apply for it, by talking with Sara, our automated assistant. This page explains what information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Your conversation with Sara. The messages you type or say, the jobs Sara shows you, and what you tell her about the work you want (kind of work, shifts, pay, area). We store the conversation, encrypted, so Sara can continue it and so our team can help if you ask for a person. If a message looks like a Social Security or ID number, Sara does not store it or send it to any AI service.
- Your location. The ZIP code or city you give. If you tap “Use my location”, your device shares its position once and we reduce it to the nearest ZIP code; we don’t keep the exact coordinates.
- Your account. When you register: your name, email, mobile phone number, ZIP code, the work experience you enter, your answers to a job’s yes/no questions, and your applications.
- Identity verification. Before an application is sent, our provider Veriff checks your photo ID and a selfie. The photos go directly to Veriff. We receive the result and the name on your ID; we don’t receive or keep your ID images, ID number or date of birth.
- Voice. The microphone turns on only when you tap “Start talking”. Your audio goes directly from your browser to our speech provider, Deepgram, which turns it into text; we receive only the text. We ask Deepgram not to use the audio to train its models, and we don’t keep recordings.
- Technical information. Our servers (Amazon Web Services, in the United States) receive your IP address and basic browser information to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which also receives your IP address. Your browser keeps your sign-in and conversation for the current tab, and remembers your language and sound settings. We don’t use advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use it
- To find jobs near you and show you real openings.
- To create your account, sign you in with codes sent by email, and verify your identity.
- To send your application to the employer you choose, and to help you with it.
- To keep Joblink safe, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- The employer you apply to. Your name, city, state and ZIP code, your language, the work experience you entered, your answers to the job’s questions, and the date your identity was verified. You review this before you send it. We don’t share it with employers you didn’t apply to.
- Service providers that work for us: Amazon Web Services (hosting), Anthropic (its Claude AI helps Sara understand messages), Deepgram (speech to text), Veriff (identity verification) and Postmark (sign-in code emails). They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
- When the law requires it, or to protect people from harm or fraud.
Please don’t share sensitive information in chat
Sara only needs the kind of work you want and where. Don’t type your Social Security number, ID numbers or immigration information. Joblink never asks for them in chat.
How long we keep it, and your choices
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or close your account, by emailing support@joblinkagent.com (see how to delete your data). We will respond within 30 days. We may keep a record of an application you sent when the law requires it. California residents have these rights under California law, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
You can stop using voice at any time and keep typing.
Security
Messages, sign-in details and other sensitive fields are encrypted when stored. Staff access requires two-step sign-in and is recorded.
Children
Joblink is for people looking for work and is not intended for children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date, and ask you to accept it if the change is significant.
